The "magic loop" technique is borrowed from knitting. It is a great way to work tight corners, working sleeves or other small circles. In order to use this technique you'll need to be working with a tunisian crochet hook with cable. The cable needs to be longer than you would normally need for the amount of stitches because there will extra length used by the loop on the middle.
Work as far as you can. At some point it will be hard to keep add more loops to your hook. This is the point where you want to start your magic loop.
Keep at least 3-4 loops on your hook. This will help keep your tension consistent.
Pull the cable through creating a loop big enough to allow the hook to move freely.
Continue working the row. This can be used multiple times if needed.
