Sabino creek is just a short hike from my house. The water in the creek gently flows down from the Santa Catalina mountains throughout the year and inspired the wavy cables in this scarf.

Yarn

500-650 yards (450-650m) DK weight yarn. Sample used Primrose Yarns Roak DK (60% SW Merino, 40% NSW Merino 230 yds/100g) in the Serenity colorway.

Hook

6.5mm (K) Tunisian crochet hook and 6.5mm (K) regular crochet hook for cable stitches.

Size

Sample is 7" (18cm) wide and 50"(125cm) long. Pattern includes instructions for modifying both width and length.
